Above is the article about e-schools:
According to the No Child Left Behind Act, teachers are to be proficient in the subjects that they teach. The law states, “Strengthens teacher quality by providing $2.8 billion for teacher quality programs and allowing local school districts to use additional federal funds to hire new teachers, increase teacher pay, improve teacher training and development or other uses.” This should include proficiency in technology. Teachers should be required to be able to effectively use technology in the classroom. Years ago, few students took typing. Now, almost every student must be able to use a computer to excel in today’s world. It’s a must!
Technology can be a great asset for teaching students. It can provide practice and a variety of reinforcements of curriculum. No longer can teachers remain ignorant of the internet and computers. Students who want to be marketable and succeed in the world must be able to use a computer. Technology will help a student to master basic concepts.
Students should no longer have to carry expensive and outdated books. Why can’t schools use e-books that are continuously, updated? E-books can be made with interactive websites that will help teachers as they help their students’ master subjects. What are your thoughts?
